Art Club

WHAT IS ART CLUB?Each month, we will try a new artistic medium or technique through easy-going projects. Members are encouraged to share their work, celebrate each other's progress, and create together in a friendly, pressure-free environment where learning and self-expression are the focus. This program is best for ages 13+.Creativity comes first and experience isn't required! _____________________________________________________________________________________THIS MONTH'S THEME:This month, we will be creating ink drawings using pre-generated prompts. We will explore techniques such as stippling, cross-hatching, ink washing, and other application techniques that members are interested in. Mixed media paper will be provided, but feel free to bring your own sketchbook! To practice these techniques, we will sketch randomly selected prompts that are based on the Inktober 2026 word list. We will dedicate a few minutes to quick sketches and then share how we interpreted each word.
