PPL Mystery Book Club

This month, we’re reading The Storm by Rachel Hawkins. When Geneva Corliss learns that a writer is coming to St. Medard’s Bay to research the 1984 murder of political scion Landon Fitzroy during Hurricane Marie, she’s less interested in solving the case than in how a successful true crime book might help her struggling inn’s bottom line. But August Fletcher hasn’t come to St. Medard’s Bay alone. He’s brought with him one Lo Bailey, the woman accused of being Fitzroy’s killer. Lo says she’s returned to her hometown to clear her name once and for all, but the closer Geneva gets to both Lo and August, the more she starts to wonder if whatever happened to Landon Fitzroy is the only secret Lo is keeping.Join us every month to read and discuss a different book in the Mystery Genre; new members are always welcome!
